Alyssa & Cisco first reached out to me for their engagement session as they were planning a destination wedding to be in a lavender field on the island of Maui, Hi. Both originally from Arizona they wanted to have an intimate wedding experience to share with their close family members in a very sweet location. They were hoping to have their session at a location that represented them well. Pleasure House Point in Virginia Beach was able to do just that.Throughout their session we discovered all the many ways that we connected. When they shared they were from AZ I told them how we had lived in AZ for 11 months for our corporate jobs. When they shared they were planning their destination wedding for Maui I excitedly shared how we had just visit Oahu and how much we LOVE Hawaii!
I find that by simply asking my clients about themselves it gives them the opportunity to talk and helps to relax their inevitable engagement session nerves. Aside from providing them with gorgeous photos that they can use for their Save The Dates or wedding website, I want them to become more comfortable in front of the camera together so on their wedding day they can really be their authentic selves.
These two couldn’t be more genuine, kind humans. Seriously, they both serve in health & human services in Virginia Beach and I can see why. They have such a calming nature about them that would set anyone at ease.
