In between weddings during the summer I have the chance to capture one of my most favorite sessions, Sandbridge beach family portraits. There is no better time to capture family portraits then when you are on vacation together, seriously! You are all together, having a great time at THE BEACH, so why not capitalize on the opportunity. I especially love when families are including the Grandparents, it’s so special. Can I tell you a secret? I LOVE THESE SESSIONS. We get the opportunity to capture so many important, generational portraits in one of the most perfect locations.
In the Rotola’s case I was actually capturing two different sets of grandparents with their grandchildren and the grandchildren with each set of their grandparents, when does that ever happen?
You may look at this first image and think, wow, 19 people, that’s a lot of wrangling. Not the case for me. Using my experience as a wedding photographer, I have a system in place to make extended family portraits not just possible but enjoyable. Not to toot my own horn but I’ve photographed family groups of up to 35 😉
If you’re planning to vacation in Sandbridge this summer and want to be the family hero reach out to me asap so we can book your family beach portrait session!
