Maddie & Drew’s story began at a boat show of all places! So it was only fitting that we went to Long Bay Pointe in Virginia Beach to start their engagement session. Surrounded by beautiful, white floating vessels and glistening water I captured lovely portraits of them together to celebrate their engagement!
Here’s why I love this location. First, we’re surrounded by beautiful white boats that all act as reflectors of light allowing me to capture bright images with clean skin tones for my clients. Second, the narrow docks actually offer the perfect runway for walking, dancing and snuggling. Last, it’s a personal to my couple. Boats are part of their story so it makes sense that they chose Long Bay Pointe for their engagement session!
After the marina we were able to head down the way and capture the perfect glowing sun at Pleasure House Point for the second part of their session. It was perfect weather and their outfit choices were just right for the sandy location. I was also thrilled that they brought along some “props”.
