I can’t get enough of Michelle & Zach’s warm Virginia Beach engagement session. These two are absolute magic together and had zero problem getting comfortable in front of my camera. It was very important that they had part of their session on the beach. I love the dress Michelle chose for these portraits as it’s stunning against the white sand.
The way these two met is one of the sweetest stories to boot. They had both attended an evening of bible study and on the way out to the parking lot Zach stopped Michelle to chat and the rest is history! I’m not sure if there is a more divine way of meeting the person you’re meant to spend the rest of your life with here on earth.
For the second half of their session we chose the nearby Cavalier Drive that sits adjacent to the Historic Cavalier Hotel. The tall mature oak trees diffuse the light perfectly behind them giving a perfect, romantic backdrop for their engagement portraits.
I love for my clients to have images that give them both variety and locations that are meaningful to them. Michelle & Zach had their wedding planned to take place right down the street at Princess Anne Country Club so choosing nearby locations for their engagement session was a perfect fit.
