A perfect blend of hand designed invitations, painted metal accents designed by Drew along with gorgeous florals under twinkling lights at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art made a most magical wedding day. One thing I do enjoy about couples having a Catholic mass is it typically allows more flexibility to our timeline of the day for wedding party & romantic portraits. Drew took great care scouting the perfect location for us to accomplish both in between their marriage ceremony and reception. We were able to capture lovely portraits with a sandy backdrop just outside First Landing State Park before caravanning to the MOCA where guests were enjoying cocktail hour featuring dark & stormy’s.
