Maggie & Jacob’s wedding day featured the perfect blend of coastal blues, soft white roses with greenery and a warm sandy beach for portraits. We started their day at St. Johns the Apostle Catholic Church. Their ceremony was a little earlier in the day, even for a typical Catholic Mass, but this allowed us to do things in a way to maximize their timeline.
After their lovely ceremony and family formals at the church we were able to head toward Sandbridge Beach for wedding party and romantic portraits. Maggie had requested Sandbridge specifically because of the pier at Little Island Park. It was the perfect spot to capture a variety of wedding party portraits before sending them back to their cool party bus while I photographed some of my most favorite Mr. & Mrs. portraits for them.
Their reception was at the brand new Virginia Beach Marriott. Their beautiful reception space opened up to a second floor terrace over looking the beach. This is where they had cocktail hour for the guests.
