I was happy to meet with Katelyn & Matt on very nice May evening, before the summer heat kicked into high gear we had a beautiful night for their engagement session!
I loved how Katelyn & Matt had soft yellow in their outfit choices for our first location, it was perfect! I love when my couples have different outfit choices to change in because it provides them with so much variety in their final gallery! Two outfits & two locations are always an option for engagement sessions 🙂
There always seems to be a little extra excitement in the air during portrait sessions and this evening did not disappoint. As we walked the trail we heard some very startling screeches down the way. We were met by some very nice friends walking their dogs who had discovered a snake along the trail! That did not bother Katelyn or Matt though, they were ready to continue on our evening adventure!
Our second location on the Chesapeake Bay was a little more relaxed 🙂 A nice breeze and gorgeous sunset awaited for my sweet soon to be Bride and her Groom. Again, excellent choice in Katelyns soft white maxi dress and Matt’s ocean blue button up shirt.
I love it when my couples make suggestions for poses during sessions. Matt was quick to suggest using the sunset as a background for their final few images. He couldn’t have been more right. These are some of my most favorite from the end of the evening.
Katelyn & Matt, I had the best time with you and I cannot wait for your day that is fast approaching!! Soak up all those summer rays now, it will be fall before you know it!!
