I can remember the first time I got to talk to Kristan on the phone. The excitement in her voice about planning her wedding with Jon was bursting through the line! We planned a morning to meet together and sit down to talk about her wedding day dreams. Sweet Jon came along for the meeting and I can remember so clearly his soft smile and nod in response to any of our questions we directed to him. It was clear he was just as excited to be getting married and wanted to do all he could to make Kristan’s dreams come true.
I arrived early in the day to Kristan’s Dad’s home where she, her Mom, Step Mom, and all of her sisters were getting ready. It was incredible to see how supportive they all were for Kristan on her big day. Kristan had taken time to set aside family jewelry that her Grandmother had given to her to wear if she wanted. Kristan hadn’t quite made her mind up but was very thankful to have options that included family pieces.
I absolutely loved the dress that Kristan chose from Here & Now Bridal the beading, layers of tulle, gorgeous bodice were some of my favorite attributes. Also her stunning veil was the perfect compliment, which I was happy to help her put in!
After getting ready we were able to all head over to the wedding venue, which wasn’t too far away, The Attic at Waterman’s
Jon & Kristan had a beautiful ceremony with Kristan’s son and Jon’s two daughters by their side. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
Kristan loves succulents and wanted to be sure they were included in her wedding day so of course there was one right in the middle of her bouquet! Also Jon craft the beautiful geometric arch that they stood before to say their vows!!
Kristan & Jon I had such an amazing day with you and your families. It beautiful to watch as you all joined your lives together with your family and close friends cheering you both on.
